WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
QUALIFYING The first six finishers in each Junior and Senior Race who meet the age criteria will select themselves to represent the USA in that event at the World Cross Country Championships in Dublin, Ireland on March 23-24, 2002. Those planning to qualify for and attend the World Championships should be available for travel between March 18 and 27. All athletes should come to the Winter Championships with a USA passport valid through April, 2002. Juniors must bring a birth certificate Due to the team nature of the trials, a few athletes will compete without any intention of going to the World Championships. Runners finishing in the top ten are requested to have travel documentation and participate in uniform sizing after the race.
