Round advancement for the 2008 NW Youth Classic/Oregon Assn JO meet
NOTE: All athletes (entrants) must check in with the Clerk of the Course when the event is called in order to qualify for advancement to the next round.
100 Meter Dash Round 1 races (Semi-finals): If there are 8 or fewer entrants in an age group for a Round 1 race, all entrants will advance to the finals as scheduled on Sunday. If there are 9 or more entrants in an age group for a Round 1 race, those races will be run as a semi-final, and the top 8 finishers will advance to the finals as scheduled on Sunday (per rule #303.1h). Round 2 races (Finals): Round 2 races will be run as finals as scheduled on Sunday.
80/100/110 Hurdle Races Round 1 races (Semi-finals): If there are 8 or fewer entrants in an age group for a Round 1 race, all entrants will advance to the finals as scheduled on Sunday. If there are 9 or more entrants in an age group for a Round 1 race, those races will be run as a semi-final, and the top 8 finishers will advance to the finals as scheduled on Sunday (per rule #303.1h). Round 2 races (Finals): Round 2 races will be run as finals as scheduled on Sunday.
